Thomas Tuchel has spoken out about his unexpected dismissal from Chelsea, which occurred after the team's 1-0 Champions League loss to Dinamo Zagreb in September.
Four months after completing their £4.25 billion buy of Chelsea, co-owner Todd Boehly explained why they decided to replace Tuchel with Graham Potter, stating that their visions did not coincide.
During his 18-month stay in the English capital, Tuchel had great success at Chelsea, winning the Champions League, Super Cup, and Club World Cup.
He was hired to a two and a half year contract and is currently in charge of Bayern Munich.
If Chelsea and Bayern win their respective quarterfinal matches against Real Madrid and Manchester City, they might square off in this season's Champions League.
The German was questioned about leaving Chelsea prior to this weekend's match between Bayern and Borussia Dortmund, another of his previous teams.
