Nottingham Forest of the Premier League is about to confirm the signing of a product of the Chelsea academy.

The Super Eagles right-back Ola Aina will join Nottingham Forest on a free transfer after arriving in Spain on Friday to undertake a medical at the team's training facility in Valencia, according to a report from The Telegraph UK.

Aina will write a two-year-old subject to clearing the medical exam with flying colors, All Nigeria Soccer can exclusively reveal. 

The indigenous talent, a former captain of the England U19 team, will join the two-time European champions as a free agent after opting not to extend his contract with Torino of the Italian Serie A.

The 26-year-old has primarily played right back for the Nigerian national team, although he can also play left back, right wingback, and left wingback.  

Prior to his permanent departure from Chelsea in 2019, Aina spent twelve years at the club, progressing from the youth team ranks to make six appearances for the Londoners across all competitions.

With 34 games played for Chelsea and Fulham combined, he has some Premier League experience.

At Nottingham Forest, the adaptable defender teams up with international teammates Taiwo Awoniyi and Emmanuel Dennis.
