One of seven teams vying to sign a World Cup semifinalist who is expected to leave Chelsea is West Ham

Hakim Ziyech of Chelsea is reportedly wanted by West Ham, according to rumors in the French media.

The Moroccan, who last year assisted his nation in reaching the World Cup semifinals, is eager to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the year.

Although Ziyech's signing to the Ligue One team fell through just before the end of the January transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain are still the favorites to land his services.
Chelsea won't likely demand a high price for Ziyech; a proposal of between €15 million and €20 million (£13.2 million to £17.6 million) is more likely to be approved. They might even be open to the idea of a loan to buy.

Naturally, West Ham's interest is entirely reliant on the squad maintaining its top-flight standing. Up until the very last minute, David Moyes' team appears to be engaged in a relegation struggle.
